A second amendment to DA582 was approved by the Chief Archivist on 1 December 2015, with the addition of Class 20 (sub-classes 20.1 to 20.22) to cover the functions of the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management (which became part of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in November 2015). DA582 was amended again in 2018 when the State Services Commission (SSC) left the Information Management Services Agreement, prompting the removal of certain classes and edits of others to reflect that SSC was no longer covered. In 2020, the description was updated to reflect that SSC was no longer covered by this Disposal Authority. Class 19, Intelligence and National Security Coordination (sub-classes 19.1 to 19.13) was superseded by DA692 on 12 August 2020. DA692 covers the National Security Group of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. A third amendment of DA582 was approved by the Chief Archivist on 09 February 2024, with the addition of Classes 21 and 22 (sub-classes 21.1-21.2 & 22.1-22.2) to cover special programmes and historical programmes and functions of Chief Science Advisor.
