Applications to bring land under various Land Transfer Acts (and therefore under the ‘Torrens’ System of Land Registration) were made to the District Land Registrar, who together with the Examiner of Titles, would review the applications and pending a report on the land in question, they would direct the land be gazetted.  These Minute Books record the name of the applicants, land description and action.
