Catalogue Synopsis:
The modern day gold rush has not made the same impact as the gold rush of last century. There is some major resistance to the larger mining companies extracting the considerable deposits of gold left from the old days gold that can only be extracted with the aid of machinery and chemicals that could lead to despoiling the bush and polluting water supplies. The film looks at the old days, recalls old stories and the individual techniques used to extract the gold.
