The Crown Grants do not have a "S" suffix, however some land records may include a "S" suffix at the end of the Crown Grant number. The "S'' relates to the spine title that the volume is in. 


In particular, the Allotment Books (Series 9341 and 9398) refer to the  number of the volume and the folio of the volume that the Crown Grant is in as well as the Crown Grant number, for example 5678 S1 62.


Series 8090 Crown Grants contains the Head Office copies of these Crown Grants.
