            [history] => This volume was housed in the Muniments Room of Land Information New Zealand's Head Office until January 2002. In c.1989 a survey was conducted of the key historical records held by the Head Office of DOSLI [Department of Survey and Land Information]. During this process records were listed and allocated the DOSLI series number 122 which has been documented on the list in the record number field. 

These lease records all relate to the Auckland Land District. It is not clear if they are Head Office records, or the original documents from the Auckland Office of the Department of Lands and Survey. 

They are arranged by lease number, but there are some gaps in the sequence. The documents give details of the land covered by the agreement and the nature of the lease.
