This is an artificial series created to contain two anomalous items in accession W3201. The first item is a volume of 54 maps entitled 'Beech Resource of New Zealand: West Coast Project Area'. The second is an annotated map of the South Island Beech Resources West Coast Project Area.

The rest of the material in accession W3201 was clearly part of the State Forest Register maintained by the New Zealand Forest Service. However, these two items do not seem to form part of the register. They have therefore been put into this series.
