            [history] => The 'Tu' black and white copy negatives were created from some of the prints displayed at the King Country Sawmillers Reunion held at Taumarunui in 1983. The display was held by Mr Ron Cooke of C & S Publications, Taumarunui for some period of time after the Reunion and copy negatives were made by him of all of the display apart from those included in this series. Mr Cooke holds the copy negatives that he made at his residence at 121 Taupo Road, Taumaranui. 

Copyright restriction on the original negatives has now lapsed and images from this series are now freely available to researchers provided they use the appropriate access procedures (See "Access"). 

Access by researchers should primarily be made through the Black and White, Colour, Slide Subject Index (AAQA 6507). This subject index will provide access to the print image, or directly to the 'Tu' copy negatives. 

The Negative Registers (AAQA 6505) will also provide access, but as they are arranged chronologically by negative number, they are more time consuming to use than the Black and White, Colour, Slide Subject Index. They will, however, provide additional information that may be of use to the researcher, such as, date of photograph, caption etc.
