	This series records plans of Maori land by block name. The plans had been drawn by government surveyors, for the Native Land Court.

	

	Entries for each plan shows the block name, plan number, surveyor name, date of plan, size of plan (s[mall] or l[arge]) and remarks.

	

	In 1919 the Auckland Land District was divided into two: the North Auckland Land District and the (South) Auckland Land District. Entries in this series that refer to land in the North Auckland district have been crossed out - this was done presumably when those entries were copied into what is now Series 4714. Series 4713 continued to be used as a record of plans in the South Auckland district.
