	The series consists of employee history information that has been retained.  The information on individual employees is displayed in a series of columns in a spreadsheet, in a series of entries relating to individual employees.

	These files contain personal information about many individuals, and information which can personally identify a person is restricted to protect the rights and entitlements of the individuals concerned.  Access to the information in these files is restricted for 70 years from the date of the file closing.

	Note for researchers and staff:

	To request access to restricted personally identifying information please provided the following to the contact below in writing.

	

		The researcher's full name.
	

		The researcher's postal address (and the researcher's residential address if different from their postal address).
	

		A photocopy of proof of identity (Drivers licence, passport, or similar document).
	

		Specific details of the information sought, who will use the information, why and for what purpose.
	

		Dates naming the period between which the researcher will be accessing the information.
	

		Inland Revenue's letter granting access to the specific data sought must be presented at Archives New Zealand before the information is supplied to the researcher.  Archives New Zealand staff will then access the restricted personally identifying information requested, extract it and supply that extract to the requester.
