This volume recorded details of fees paid to the Warden's Court in Queenstown. The date of payment, name of fee payer and amount paid were all recorded.
The volume was also used as a record book of fees for slaughtering licenses (1863) and later used as the Queenstown Foreign Summons Record Book (1874).
In 1863 the volume was also used to record the number of copies of Gold Fields Regulation Books sold at the Warden's Office, Queenstown.
