	 These cards continued Series 23271 Admission and Child Welfare Control Cards.

	The sequence of Nominal Cards from 1969 was called the Master File Index from January 1969. Included in the sequence were index cards for Proposed Admission and Admissions Not Effected. The Proposed Admissions cards were missing, but Proposed Admissions are documented on the the 6/70/4 files in in Series 22057 Multiple Number Subject files. For the Admissions Not Effected, the 6/70/4A files - Proposed Admissions Declined or Not Proceeded With and Admissions Not Effected, they are also in Series 22057.

	(a) Admission Progress and Withdrawal Registers, pupil record cards, Day Books, Log Books, and class records are restricted for 100 years from date of last entry, on grounds of protection of personal privacy of pupils, under the Privacy Act.

	(b) Information about pupils in administrative records is restricted for 100 years on grounds of personal privacy under the Privacy Act.

	(c) Named pupil files and the list of these are indefinitely restricted as they contain information subject to the Privacy Act, and may also contain information subject to the current provisions of the Adoption Act 1955 and the Adult Adoption Act 1985.

	(d) Individually named staff files and personal information about individual staff in administrative records are restricted for 70 years from the date of last paper/date of last entry, on the grounds of protection of personal privacy under the Privacy Act.
