Each case file contains an application form to the court documenting the Act and Section the case relates to and the names of the applicant and the respondent. These application forms are accompanied by all documentation of the case including transcripts, evidence, notices of hearings. The top sheet of the file documents the final outcome of the case, typically with either a Certificate of Judgement or a Notice of Withdrawal. 
The change in prefix from W to WRC in the file numbering is the result of the passing of the Employment Relations Amendment Act in 2001 which saw file numbering start again at 1. Therefore some files from 2000/2001 have the same numerical reference and can only be differentiated by their prefix. 
Files with a WRC prefix are accompanied by a full file summary listing all details and events of the case.
