These minutes recorded decisions made by the Otago Land Valuation (earlier Land Sales) Committee.  The Committee considered cases in the first instance, and made decisions which could be appealed at the Land Valuation Court.  These minutes recorded the case number, type of case (e.g. objection, notice of motion, new valuations), and decision of the Committee or action taken.
It is assumed that this series ended in 1968 when the Land Valuation Court and Committee were abolished, and replaced by Land Valuation Tribunals.
