	This accession comprises black and white photographs (and in some cases corresponding negatives) and film strips transferred to National Archives by the Health Education Information Unit. The photographs date from the 1940s - 1970s. It is assumed that National Publicity Studios photographers took these photographs on behalf of the Health Education Information Unit.

	

	A list is not currently available for the filmstrips.

	

	Archives New Zealand staff have listed the photographs alphabetically by subject and numbered them consecutively. This list is housed in three ringbinders and is located with other supplementary finding aids in Archives NZ, Wellington Office Main Reading Room. The ringbinders contain a detailed subject index to the photographs and photocopies of each photograph. The list and index have not been captured into GLADIS.

	

	The negatives have not been listed. For details concerning access to these negatives, please refer to the additional notes attached to the list of photographs.
