(1.) Access to all 2/- and 3/- subseries files in Series 6905 Accession W3087
Restricted for 70 years from date of file closure, as they contain personal information about staff, including accidents. Although no restrictions were placed on these records at the time of transfer, these files are subject to the personal privacy access provisions of the Official Information Act 1982; the Privacy Act 1993 and the Health Information Privacy Code.
(2.) Series 6905 Accessions W5683 and W5717
All land tenure case files are to be restricted for 40 years from the date of file closure to protect the personal privacy of individuals/companies.
(3.) Series 6905 Accession W5683 Honorary Ranger Files
Honorary Ranger files are to be restricted for 40 years from the date of file closure to protect the personal privacy for those nominated for the role.
(4.) Series 6905 Accession A1702
Prosecution files are restricted for 60 years from date of file closure to protect personal privacy.
(5.) Preservation restrictions
Some records covered under this series are protected under section 49(1)(a) of the Public Records Act 2005.
Photographs require that gloves are worn when viewing.
