Show Series Access Statement
Under the provisions of the 1982 Official Information Act, the following file sequences are restricted for 30 years from the date of the last action on the file:
T71 - United Nations Organisations - all 71/- files
T81 - OECD: Organisation of Economic Co-operation & Development - all 81/- files
T79 - Official Information Act - the following specific 79/- file sequences are restricted for 30 years from date of last action on the file.

Under the provisions of the 1993 Privacy Act, the following file sequences are restricted for a period of 70 years from the date of the last action on the file:
T79 - State Services Remuneration and Conditions of Employment sequence - files T79/80 and T79/86/1
T79 - Official Information Act:ย Replies to Requests sequence - specifically files 79/9/1 parts 2, 3, 6a, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 19 and 27 (AALR Series 873 Accession W5192).
T79 - Official Information:ย Complaints to the Ombudsman (Treasury Cases Only) - specifically files 79/9/2 parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (AALR Series 873 Accession W5192).
The following restrictions apply to accession W5427 (access authority AA111):
- All files in series T39 are restricted for 25 years from date of transfer, for reasons of commercial sensitivity.
- The files in series T62 marked 'R' are restricted for 25 years from date of transfer, for reasons of commercial sensitivity.
- All files in series T46 is restricted for 25 years from date of closure for reasons of personal privacy (not highly detailed) and statutory period before documents relating to estates can be viewed by others.
- The files in series T69 marked 'R' are restricted for 15 years from date of closure for reasons of political sensitivity.
Accessions W3158 and W4446
In addition, the restrictions for T39 and T62 files in accession W3158 and W4446 have had access authority AA111 applied retrospectively, therefore they are restricted for 25 years from the date of transfer.
