• For reasons of personal privacy, all Land Tenure Case Files transferred by Landcorp Investments Ltd., or its agents, are restricted for 40 years from the date of file closure.
• All general or policy files transferred by Landcorp Investments Ltd., or its agents, that are less than 40 years old are open to non-government researchers on the proviso that the researcher undertakes, in writing, not to disclose:-
information of a personal nature that is less than 40 years old; or information relating to case files which are restricted (i.e. the case file is less than 40 years old). [The researcher declaration can be obtained by Archives New Zealand staff using Objective ID A60654.]
• All Case Files, General Files and Policy Files transferred by Landcorp Investments Ltd., or its agents, are open to authorised government agencies; currently Land Information NZ.
• All files transferred by the Department of Conservation are not restricted.
