π James Busby's Land Claims - These are papers relating to Busby's claims to land under the Old Land Claims Acts. They relate to his claims Nos. 14 to 22 in the Bay of Islands, Nos. 23-24 at Whangarei and one north of Whangarei at Ngunguru. The litigation and correspondence continued from 1841 to 1871 when Crown Grants were finally issued for part of these claims.
