Unrestricted except for the following:
Accession W4946 (Lottery and Gaming Files) - 200/- Lottery Grant Application files which concern applications from individuals for welfare purposes are restricted for 70 years from date of file closure, to prevent the disclosure of sensitive personal information. This restriction is documented on Access Agreement AA39.
Accession W5224 (Local Government Files) - Some files containing Cabinet papers are restricted for 25 years. This restriction is documented on Access Agreement AA10.
Accession W3386, W6103 (Naturalisation Files) - These files are restricted for 100 years after the birth of the individual, or 40 years after death, whichever is sooner. To gain access to these records proof confirming a date of birth or death outside the stated restriction periods, or written permission from the access contact, will be required.
Accession W4661 (Parliamentary Building Files) - All plan and file records pertaining to the construction, repair, and maintenance of the following: the Beehive, Bowen House, Parliamentary Library and the Legislative Building are restricted for 100 years from record closure, on the grounds of national security.
