Lake Alice Hospital was established and administered under the control of the Department of Health. It was transferred from the Crown to the control of Wanganui Area Health Board in April 1986.

Lake Alice Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located in Rangatiki, Manawatu-Whanganui, New Zealand. Lake Alice Psychiatric Hospital was one of the investigation focuses of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in State Care in 2019-2023

Lake Alice Hospital was established and administered under the control of the Department of Health. It was transferred from the Crown to the control of Wanganui Area Health Board in April 1986.
