	1)  AD 8/26/ - files and AD 11/ - files are restricted for 25 years from the last date on file. Staff/personal and accident files are restricted for 70 years from the last date on the file. Works Consultancy Services Limited, Napier Office was disestablished in 1996 when it was purchased by Kinta Kellas Plc. (becoming Opus International Consultants Ltd.). It has not yet been determined which agency is now responsible for granting access to restricted records.

	2) All plan and file records pertaining to the construction, repair, maintenance and security of Ministry of Justice Court and other Sites are restricted for 100 years from the closing date of the record. Upon the expiration of 100 years the restriction will be reviewed.

	Some records are protected under section 49(1)(a) of the Public Records Act 2005.

	Photographs require that gloves are worn when viewing.

	Negatives are not issuable due to preservation requiremens. Contact Archives New Zealand for permission to view or the availability of alternative access provisions. Viewing is by appointment only.
